Our commitments to a more sustainable holiday

At Les Terrasses d'Atlanthal, we are fortunate to operate in an exceptional natural and cultural environment. Aware of this richness, we are committed every day to limiting our impact on the planet and promoting more responsible tourism to our employees, customers and partners. Here are some of the key elements of our eco-responsible approach.

An eco-responsible approach on a daily basis:

Implementing a comprehensive eco-responsible approach means taking an interest in all the establishment's activities, and assessing how to avoid, limit or offset these impacts for each of them. In our strategy, all services, purchases and flows have been analyzed and we have implemented several concrete actions to reduce our ecological footprint, while guaranteeing optimum comfort for our customers:

- Waste reduction, sorting and recovery: Refillable soap dispensers in bathrooms, returnable glass bottles and reusable glasses in rooms, welcome products in bulk or with recyclable packaging. Provision of sorting bins for guests, local service providers for waste collection and recycling (cardboard and paper, plastics and other packaging, bio-waste, cigarette butts, etc.).

- Energy savings: LED lighting throughout the facility, presence detection in corridors and staircases, reinforced thermal insulation, regular maintenance of equipment to avoid energy wastage, optimized air-conditioning-ventilation-heating system set according to the seasons and the French government's ecological recommendations.

- Water management: flow reducers on taps and showers, towels changed on demand, rational watering of green spaces (drip irrigation, adapted species).

- Committed catering: Seasonal, locally sourced and/or organic products, reduction of food waste through an adjusted offer. Products in bulk rather than individually packaged.

A mobilized team :

Our employees are trained in good environmental practices within their departments and at their workstations, and we encourage them to do the same outside the hotel (e.g. soft mobility for commuting). We favor local, responsible and committed suppliers in all our purchases, and continue to improve our services to reduce environmental impact as much as possible. Finally, every employee is invited to contribute to our approach by sharing their ideas on all these subjects via a suggestion form.

Your participation counts :

During your stay, you are invited to adopt eco-responsible gestures for a stay with low environmental impact:
- By informing us that you wish to keep your towels or bed linen for several days (posted in your room)
- By sorting your waste according to the instructions (find our sorting bins in the establishment)
- By limiting the use of air conditioning or heating when possible (control methods posted in the room)
- By limiting food waste at the morning buffet.
